the last person i said I love you 2 was my husband, because i do love him. we have had my daughter 7 2 grandchildren living with us for about 6 months, so house been bit chaotic. my husband has put up with screaming kids, toys everywhere, and no snuggle up time.

I replied, “We love you more.” Other than that, I’ve told many that I love them within the past 24 hours including my parents. Everyday morning I always say ‘I Love You’ to my children as we head off on our own little daily journeys. My son is first, because he’s the first to leave for high school. Then my eldest daughter next, because I leave her at home to get ready for her days at junior high. Lastly, is my youngest daughter, as I drop her off to elementary school, on my way to work. My husband leaves before we all are awake, so I say ‘I Love You’ to him as he goes to sleep each night.

I called my friend Travis Porter of over 10 years to tell him, I Love Him because he has been a true friend to me. We tried to be an ITEM back in the day, but he was separted from his wife physically but in his heart still wanted her. But we stayed friends throught it all and the day I knew I loved him is when I was at the Stadium in Oakland, CA (a club) singing Why Does It Hurt So Bad by Whitney Houston and couldn’t finish the song and went to the bathroom and started crying. I knew at that momment, he was someone special to me and that is a night neither him or I will forget because he knew that song was for him and till this very day even though we live accross the state from each other we talk every day, he has listened to me during my bad relationship and he makes me smile cause he always let me know he thinks about me, and how if I was there we could enjoy each other Spiritually, Emotionally, Financially, and Physically…that is why I called him today and everyday to tell him I Love You.
The last person I said “I love you” to was my son, Christian, when I dropped him off on his college campus today. I want him to know that I’m proud of the man he’s becoming. He’s chosen to pursue his degree in Marketing, while mentoring young men at his old high school. His father abandoned the family several years ago, and instead of turning to destructive behavior, my son has remained focused. It’s my job as his Mom to reward that behavior. I am a single mother to an amazing 5-year old gorgeous boy. I am responding to your twitter post, and I just finished telling my son that I love him, only seconds before reading the post. There is not a second that goes by when we are together that I don’t say I love you to my son. I only have my mom by my side for family support, and that is truly enough for my son and I. Even though it is just the three of us my son definitely feels and is truly loved! God bless!
My 10 yo son Cole. His cancer (leukemia) relapsed 3 weeks ago, so we are inpatient at a hospital in Green Bay, Wi getting some nasty, nasty, but life saving chemo. He said “Your the best mom ever.” And I said, “I love you!”

i’m trying to remember my exact words. i said it yesterday or today depending on the time. actully in the am so it was technically today. i’m talking in a circle just cause. most don’t keep reading if its just la la lala la. i said i love me some daddy! there is no specific reason. i don’t believe there is or has to be a reason. if there were, i would have to suspect it was an agenda. and there ain’t no place for agenda’s in any kind of love. love is unconditional. and i truly believe it is. i’m not saying i haven’t suffered for it either. but undonditional love is instilled in me to my soul. and that my friend is something that no one but our Father who art thou in Heaven can change. He blessed me with it thru forgiveness of others that had caused me the most pain and suffering so its just there and i firmly believe its unconditional. back to why i said i love you……hopefully you weren’t expecting a reason other than because you are you. the amount of energy that pours from you is electric and shared with by many people. you add brightness wherever you go. and real without trying to be. you’ve maintained character and integrity without losing the “street” in you. its admirable. *****by saying you, i meant daddy so nothing gets all twisted. i love confusion. peace and love!

My father used to call his family every day, to know how they were going. He used to call his one and only sister every day to let her know that even if he’s far he loves her and that she doesn’t have to worry for him. I grew up in a house where the words ” I love you” were seldom heard. I want my daughter to hear and feel how much I love her every day. I make it a point to tell her I love her every time she nurses. I want to become more comfortable saying the words out loud and I want them to be a part of our daily conversation.
I made a lot of poor decisions growing up “looking for love in all the wrong places.” I know that, since it’s just her and I, statistics already predict that she will make a lot of those mistakes. I’m hoping that by showing her openness and affection from birth, I have a better chance of steering her toward a better life.

Something happened to me today that sadly rarely ever happens in families. I have an 18 year old brother who has just had some serious bad luck lately, but regardless I always let him know I’m there to pick him up when he falls. I receive a text at 6am while I was at work and it was from him. He just wanted to tell me he was up all night thinking about me and how much he needs me in his life. I simply put I love you. I knew that was what he was trying to say in his manly way. Everyone needs someone, don’t ever forget that.
